Sunrise in the Community

Sunrise is proud to be a part of Carlisle! We are the second largest employer in town and we are very supportive of our community.

Recent Community Involvement:

Sunrise purchases gifts for less fortunate children in Carlisle. Gifts were delivered on Christmas Eve.
Sunrise donates $500 to the Carlisle Elementary/JR High Student Council for their Christmas display, which was ruined by flooding in the area. View picture
Sunrise donates $400 to the Carlisle Elementary/JR High Science Olympiad team for shirts and much needed supplies to help with in-state competitions. View picture
Sunrise matches dollar for dollar (up to $5,000) the funds raised by the Carlisle/Haddon Township ambulance service to help upgrade the gurney for their ambulance. Sunrise Coal donated $5,000.
Sunrise helps build a fence at Carlisle Park where local sports teams practice and compete. View picture
Sunrise, in conjunction with the local Girl Scout Troop and several parents from the community, helps support the “Clothes Closet” for the Carlisle School students in need of new clothes. View picture
Each year Sunrise sponsors the local 4-H Club, donating more than $7,500 annually.
Sunrise sponsors several local sports teams.
